June Lake

  • Known for its early season big catches
  • Rainbow, brook, cutthroat, brown trout
  • Try trolling flies along the reed beds
  • Good shore fishing off the rocks on town side of lake

Gull Lake

  • Has produced some big fish
  • Brook and rainbow trout
  • Good bait fishing

Silver Lake

  • Best shore fishing of the lakes
  • Brook trout and rainbow trout
  • Fly fishing, bait, or lures all work well here
  • California Record Brook Trout - 9 pounds, 12 ounces taken from Silver Lake in 1932.

Grant Lake

  • Best for browns
  • Brook, brown and rainbow trout
  • Try trolling near Privy Point
  • Fish near Rush Creek inlet with bait

Rush Creek

  • Rainbows and browns
  • Try creek as it feeds Silver Lake
  • Also good Silver Lake to Grant Lake

Parker Lake

  • 2-mile hike from end of road, gentle grade
  • Good for rainbows
